New Memory Blog for Mom and Dad

Hey Everyone -

I hope you are looking here for Mom and Dad's memory posts and thinking, "Hey! Where did those go?"  I have created a separate place for them, because I think they deserve it, and it seems more organized to me....The new blog is momanddadstory.blogspot.com.  I may still adjust the formatting and background, etc., but go ahead and check it out!

Baby Davidson Nursery

Here are some pictures of our nursery! It has been fun putting it all together and has a lot of little items that remind me of all of you!

The floating shelf parker very securely anchored for baby's safety. Hanging are some original mcdonald children clothing, the yellow and bluish one hand made by mom.

Rocking chair from Parker's Grammy upon which sits some handmade stuffed animals from melissa, me and mom. I made the crocheted alphabet quilt hanging on the chair. (Lindley has a matching turquoise one).

The changing table sits on a dresser from emily. I made the changing pad cover

The crib bedding I made and it was really easy! The giant flower was a joint effort from melissa, mom, and me although I would have to say it was mainly melissa's masterpeice. I love that flower! Also the white knitted blanket is from mom made on special request!

In the corner are framed butterflies from emily that I love! and picture that actually belongs to amy and my hope chest!

Our hospital to-go bag. Complete with snacks (for parker), massager (for me), mints, clothes, books(which I am going to take out since after some thought I have concluded I probably won't be doing much reading in the hospital), extra camera battery, charger, etc. It's probably, acutally most definitely a little overkill but we are just trying to be prepared:)
